Brooklyn Bridge

Designed by John Augustus Roebling Brooklyn Bridge stretches 1825 meters over the East River connecting Manhattan and Brooklyn. Construction began on January 3, 1870. The Brooklyn Bridge was completed thirteen years later and was opened for use on May 24, 1883. I visited Brooklyn Bridge at the unusual hour of 6 a.m. with the only purpose of avoiding the continuous transit of pedestrians. I walked all the bridge through couple of times until I got the perfect light and the dramatic sky I was looking for, then I set my tripod on the right spot to play with the symmetry and deepness that the 1520 suspenders and the 400 diagonal stays the bridge has give to the photograph you are looking at. -New York 2008-
