The Round Tower

The Round Tower is a 17th-century tower located in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It is one of the many architectural projects of Christian IV and it was built as an astronomical observatory. The Round Tower is built with a 210 metre long spiral ramp, which leads to the top of the observatory and planetarium, as it was the King's wish to be driven by horse carriage up to the top. -Copenhagen 2010-
